Pastor Albert R. Hunter, Jr.

Pastor Albert R. Hunter, Jr. has a dynamic apostolic, prophetic calling to minister God's message of salvation through Jesus Christ to the world.  Anointed by God, Pastor Hunter melts evens the hardest hearts with his unique style of preaching, using the unadulterated Word of God as his foundation.

Pastor Hunter, a graduate of Curie High School received his Associate Degree from MorrisTown College in Tennessee. That same year, God led Pastor Hunter into the Monument of Faith Church where the Honorable Apostle R.D. Henton is the Pastor. Exactly seven years later he received his minister's license. Exactly seven years later under the same covering, Pastor Hunter received his ordination. Pastor Hunter is currently pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Christian Counseling.

In the year 2000, Pastor  Hunter and his wife, Evangelist Shirley Hunter, who was also ordained by Apostle Henton, founded A Peculiar People’s Ministry with the primary goal of spreading the Word of God.  A Peculiar People’s Ministry has hosted several events in the Chicagoland area and throughout the United States. His anointed sermons point sinners to Calvary and motivate Christians to walk in their Godgiven inheritance by realizing their position in Christ.  In October 2006 ,Pastor Hunter and his wife, under the ledership of the Lord, opened the doors to A Peculiar People Church International Ministries.

Pastor Hunter believes that Christianity is not just something you talk about on Sunday, but it is a lifestyle.  It is this intimate relationship with Jesus Christ that strengthens a believer’s life.  Through anointed Biblical teachings, Pastor Hunter is bringing hope to a lost and dying generation, a message that cuts through the world’s barriers and reaches the heart of all mankind.
